In October 2009 Bob and Gill will undertake their first Intrepid
Explorer Adventure' aboard an historic train on a jouney extending from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Portland, Oregon.
The locomotive that will pull the train is a restored engine that once pulled the Southern Pacific 'Daylight' a name train that operated in the 1940's/50s between Seattle and Los Angeles. Gill and Bob will depart Minneapolis on the 13th of October arriving Portland on the 20th according to the itinerary on this web site:
